Champagne gifts as a birthday gifts:
Christmas is on our doorstep, I’m sure most of us have finished our Christmas shopping (perhaps some of us haven’t even started) but in general I would say that Christmas is in full swing! Which is great! I absolutely love this time of year. It’s fun, exciting and everyone gets involved! I just love it. BUT… just because it’s

It's Christmas!
December and we’re surrounded by Christmas decorations, festive songs on the radio and countless Christmas gift sets on the highstreet, it does not mean that we should forget or not make as big a fuss about other occasions that are happening! How many people do you know that have birthdays near Christmas or in the month of December… I could name about 5 or 6.
When I spoke to them about what they get for their birthdays and how they felt that their birthdays were so close to Christmas, here is what they said:
“I’m not too bothered about my birthday, it gets forgotten in all the Christmas drama. I just get a nice Christmas gift each year that is meant to be both my birthday and Christmas gift…”
“I make a point to seperate my birthday from Christmas. I wasn’t born on Christmas Day, Jesus was. I have a birthday so I want to celebrate… Christmas comes after!”
“I always celebrate my birthday in January, it’s just easier because the whole of December is taken up with Christmas parties, Christmas shopping and generally going a bit mental about Christmas that I think it’s just a bit of a waste to do it before. It works out well though as it’s something to look forward to in the New Year”
From these quotes I think we can all agree that these three people feel like their birthdays are secondary to Christmas! BUT this shouldn’t be the case! So I have a little suggestion for you this year… if someone that you know has a birthday in December, why not make a real fuss of them and make them feel like December ‘is’ about their birthday and not just Christmas. There are a number of ways to do this… but it takes advance planning.
In December our evenings are taken up with Christmas shopping and Christmas parties and so we have little free time to be social about anything else unless it is

Birthday gifts in December
Christmas related. So, if your loved one has a birthday on the 22nd December find a suitable date in the month of December (probably the weekend or week before) and let all your friends and family know. Save the date in fact, get it out there and let people know that you plan to celebrate your loved ones birthday on this date and that you expect these people to attend. If it’s in the diary and you’ve had RSVP’s it’s highly unlikely that people will cancel or not even turn up!
My suggestion is to throw the ‘December birthday boy/girl’ a little celebration of some sort – a dinner at a fancy restaurant with close friends and family, a party at a special venue with birthday banners and birthday balloons (you’ll need to buy these in advance… when Christmas comes do you have any idea how hard it is to find a birthday related card or balloon!!!) or even just a night out on the town with friends. But do something that has nothing to do with Christmas and will make the birthday boy/girl feel so special!
Now we come onto the gift… have you noticed that with the arrival of Christmas – gifts suddenly appear everywhere… but for some reason they all have that festive touch, I have no idea why. This is the perfect excuse to think outside the box and go for something unusual. I am huge advocate of champagne gifts, they are perfect for almost every occasion and champagne is a drink that is certainly loved by so many! If you a looking for a champagne gifts I have some suggestions for those too… In fact you can find a more in

Engraved Champagne Gift Set With Standard Engraved Champagne Flutes
depth discussion about the best champagne gifts on offer on this post:
How to choose a Champagne Gift as a Christmas Gift…
There are four main types of champagne gift that you could consider, the first is personalised champagne, then there is engraved champagne (a real luxury gift), the third is personalised champagne flutes and then finally there is the option to combine a personalised champagne or engraved champagne with a set of engraved champagne flutes. I like the idea of a personalised champagne bottle quite simply because you can personalise the label with your own design by uploading images and graphics, it’s possible to move the images and rotate them as well as add text to the label. It’s almost like a greetings card on a champagne bottle…. perhaps the ‘perfect’ gift….
